Defense: 900 guests at the events of the International Book Fair

The Defense yesterday concluded its participation in the XXXIII edition of the Turin International Book Fair, with the latest activities planned inside the stand of the Defense staff at the Oval pavilion of the Lingotto Fiere (Stand W112 - X111).

About 900 total guests attended the 30 events of the Defense and Armed Forces staff, which took place over the five days of the event, from 14 to 18 October.

Several thousand visitors, among the approximately 150.000 in total, crowded the Defense stand and became aware of the editorial offers of the Armed Forces.

The issues addressed by the Armed Forces and the Defense Staff, in line with this year's theme of the "Vita Supernova" Show, looked at space and the cyber sector with their implications for defense and security and innovation. fundamental technology to face the new challenges of modern operational scenarios. At the same time, there was a strong reference to the ethical values ​​of the Armed Forces with the presentation, among others, of editorial products on the Unknown Soldier in the year of the commemoration of the centenary of his transfer to the shrine of the Altar of the Fatherland.

Finally, space was also dedicated to the defense's commitment to sport, environmental protection and gender equality.

During the closing press conference, the director of the Book Fair, Nicola Lagiogia, in highlighting the success achieved by this particular post - covid edition of the Salone, made an appointment in May 2022.
