This afternoon, in the Central Military Library of Palazzo Esercito, in the presence of the Chief of Staff of the Army, Army Corps General Danilo Errico, the Air Force Chief of Staff, Enzo Vecciarelli Air Force General, conferred the honorary military patent for the first Italian helicopter pilot, Mrs. Maria Concetta Micheli.
A life dedicated to her greatest passion, the flight, Ms. Micheli obtained the civil helicopter pilot's license in the 1971, and from that moment she fought with extraordinary determination and unparalleled willpower to make her value known, in a epoch in which this work was still reserved for the male world. His greatest dream, to become a military pilot, came true today with the symbolic delivery of the military patent.
