In the year in which the centenary of the glorious episodes of the Arditi occurs in the battle on the Col Moschin, the presentation of the book "Il Reparto" by Paolo Palumbo arrives in the North-East thanks to the perfect organization of the Italian Arditi National Federation (Prov. of Trieste, Istria, Fiume and Dalmatia) presided over by the very active Massimilano Ursini and the participation of the Institute of Historical and Military Researches of the Contemporary Age "Carlo Alfredo Panzarasa".
Saturday 27 January at 17,30 at the House of the Combattente of Trieste, the author, along with the publisher Alberto Manca will tell the adventure that led to the creation of the volume which - thanks to the valuable active collaboration of the Ninth Regiment and the contribution of 'ANIE (National Army Raiders Association) - can be considered the "official history" of the department.
The event is enriched by the presence of a representative of the Ninth, a clear sign that attests the importance of the stories narrated within the book.
In support of the stories, a rich iconographic apparatus from the Regiment Archives, by ANIE members, Daniele Damiani and Viviana Cariola, who was able to grasp the most recent and recent moments of the training of the raiders, can be appreciated.
