The exhibition, inaugurated yesterday at 10.30 in the presence of the mayor of Palazzolo and the delegate of the mayor of Iseo, was made possible thanks to the effective collaboration of the municipality of Palazzolo sull'Oglio and the twinning of the two ANMI groups (Palazzolo and Iseo).
The navy has been carrying out promotional initiatives for years to make the armed force known to the general public and especially to young people. Given the imminent start of the school year, starting from Monday 15 September, guided tours of the exhibition have already been scheduled for school groups from various countries of the province.
Static models of ships, submarines, airplanes and helicopters are exhibited. Some of these models, so-called navigators, will be immersed in nautical tanks, with water in motion, in order to make the effect of navigation realistic.
The Institutional Navy exhibition will remain open to the public until Sunday 21 September at 09.00 / 12.30 and 15.00 / 19.00.
