Navy: Open Day of the "Francesco Morosini" naval school

The Naval Military School "Francesco Morosini" of Venice opens its doors to pupils of upper secondary schools and third grades of lower secondary schools to make their educational offer known and provide information on the next call for applications and on the peculiarities of the life within the institution.

The Institute will be open in March on three dates, Saturday 14, Saturday 21 and Monday 23, from 09.00 to 16.30.

The entry of visitors will be allowed, with no need for reservation, from 09.00 to every full hour with last entry at 15: 00.

The "Francesco Morosini" Military Naval School, together with the Naval Academy of Livorno and the non-commissioned schools of Taranto and La Maddalena, is part of the training institutes of the Navy.

The "Morosini" is equivalent to a second-level school of education where student-students attend the last three years of the Scientific or Classical Lyceum. The Naval School provides a unique cultural and experience background that combines careful and profound scholastic preparation with an enrichment of moral values ​​and principles marked by a strong sense for the specific nation of the Armed Forces.

In addition to their studies, students carry out maritime activities, such as sailing, rowing, swimming and Venetian rowing. The training and training activities are completed with the training campaigns on board the Navy ships.
