The Defense Staff will participate from 18 to 20 October in “Orienta Sicilia 2016”, the university and professional school orientation show aimed at all students who attend the last classes of Sicilian High Schools.
Young people from all the provinces of the island, accompanied by their teachers, will have the opportunity to access the exhibition area in Hall 20 of the Mediterranean Fair in Palermo and learn about the training packages offered by the Italian Armed Forces.
The soldiers of the Army, Navy, Air Force and Carabinieri present at the stand will be available to visitors on 18 and 19 October from 09.00 to 14.00 and from 15.00 to 17.00 and on 20 October from 09.00 to 14.00 for answer all questions regarding career opportunities and illustrate the paths available for access to the numerous professional opportunities.
"Orienta Sicilia 2016" also represents an opportunity to satisfy the curiosity of young people on the tasks performed by the Armed Forces, in Italy and abroad. It will be possible to receive information on the commitment of the Defense in the cross-border scenarios to combat international security threats and to deepen the knowledge of activities conducted at home for the benefit of the community.
