European Defense, Cooperation in the Navy sector and the Eurofighter program were the main topics discussed today, at Palazzo Aeronautica, during a meeting between the Undersecretary of State for Defense, Domenico Rossi, and his German counterpart, Katrin Suder in official visit to Rome.
"Today's meeting confirms the excellent relations between Italy and Germany"Said Undersecretary Rossi,"and represents an important opportunity to define and identify common projects, in the mutual sectors of interest, to be pursued with a view to an ever more solid cooperation".
The appreciation of Italy's capacity in the submarine sector also arrived from the German Secretary of State for Defense Suder.
In particular, Rossi and Suder have emphasized the need to strengthen the collaboration already started, also to favor the creation of ever wider spaces in the sector market.
Today's meeting anticipates the Eurofighter ministerial meeting which will take place in October at 2017 in the city of Toledo where the undersecretaries of Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom and Spain will meet.
