The initiative, organized by the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport and the Ferrovie dello Stato Group, aims to commemorate the Republic Day in those places, such as the large railway stations, which for logistical importance have played a fundamental role in the gigantic reconstruction work, after the Second World War. The Deputy Minister of Infrastructures and Transport, Riccardo Nencini, is expected to attend Florence Santa Maria Novella, while the CEO of Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane, Renato Mazzoncini, will be present in Milan Central.

During the concerts, which will last about an hour, the national anthem and some pieces taken from the traditional band repertoire will be performed. The Italian military band corps, all made up of musicians graduated from the conservatory, have a fanfare of about 100 elements, made up of wind and percussion instruments.
