EXPO 2015: preparations for overflight Frecce Tricolori

A few days after the expected opening ceremony of Expo Milano 2015 "Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life", the Universal Exposition that Italy will host from May 1st to the 31 October 2015, is preparing for the planned passage of the Frecce Tricolori on the place of the event.

Thursday 30 April, between the 12.00 and 13.00 hours, one of the MB339 aircraft of the National Aerobatic Team will fly over the venue for a test passage. The next day will be the entire formation of nine aircraft to seal the highlights of the event, spreading the longest tricolor in the world over the city of Milan.

The opening of the EXPO will be the prelude at the beginning of the season of performances, which will start the 8 May on the seafront of Bari and will see the pilots and specialists of the 313 ° Aerobatic Training Group of the Italian Air Force engaged in 25 appointments from the north to the south of Italy and abroad in the name of promoting the Country System and Made in Italy.

The last acrobatic training, traditionally carried out on 1 May, will take place this year on Sunday 3 May, again on the mother base in Rivolto, in the province of Udine, under the watchful eyes of the PAN commander, Lieutenant Colonel Jan Slangen and fans. of the 130 Frecce Tricolori Clubs in Italy and abroad.

The one on the city of Milan of 1 ° May will be the first appearance in flight with the new tricolor livery, of which the Frecce fans have had an anticipation via social in recent days.

It will be a tribute to the Tricolor, which will obviously continue to distinguish the tail rudder of the aircraft, and the 55 years of the National Aerobatic Team, which recur this year and will be celebrated by the Air Force 5 and 6 September in Rivolto with an air show open to the most prestigious acrobatic and air force patrols of the world and to the main Italian industrial and aerospace industries.
