The Submarine and Incursor Command of the Navy, known throughout the world for the companies run by its own men and for its own operational abilities, will be told to the population of Varese during a particular event that will take place the 29 April 2017 at 18.00 at 'great hall of the University of Insubria located in Via Ravasi.
Through a multimedia path and the presence of operators of the Comsubin Operative Groups, the participants will be accompanied along a history, all Italian, focused on the evolution of diving that will allow to know what the Palombari and the Navy Raiders have done for our Country.
It will be discovered how their exploits are known all over the world, how they have influenced the cinema of international action and how they have been decisive also for the economic development of Italy, above all thanks to the enterprise of the reactivation of the ports led by these men in immediate post-war period.
The Raiders and the divers, their current abilities and the most important operations carried out in favor of the community (Costa Concordia and Torre di Genova, to name a few) will make themselves known to the city of Varese, a unique opportunity open to all to get closer to the sea, a unique opportunity to learn about the Navy.
