Model Scale Volandia is a new exhibition of static modeling competition born from the friendly collaboration of the clubs "Asso di Spade" IPMS Varese and IPMS Legnano.
The idea and the desire to give life to a new modeling event, but also aeronautical and military, in a place of historical importance have finally materialized in a project in which we believe a lot.
The location is the "VOLANDIA" Flying Museum Park in Somma Lombardo (VA), located in the buildings of the former Caproni Aeronautical Workshops, which has made the spaces available, opening the doors to this initiative. The peculiarity of seeing the models and admiring the airplanes present inside the museum is, in our opinion, an opportunity not to be missed.
The exhibition-competition is open to all modellers and all types of static models as long as they fall within the categories specified by the regulation.
There are category awards, special prizes and awards from the many sponsors involved.
There will also be a commercial area, as well as practical demonstrations dedicated to modeling.
In short, the surprises will be many in this first absolute that wants to turn into a fixed appointment and reference for fans of modeling, militaria, aviation and defense.
