The revelations of a senior member of Hamas, arrested by the secret services of Israel, revealed various aspects of the organization and shed light on the various methods used to finance terrorism.

In addition to weapons, between Israel and the countries that have sworn its elimination from the map, a war has been fought for years by dint of publications and insights, according to precise directives of the secret services. The last one was published a few hours ago. Fictitious names, transactions and entities used by Hamas to raise money around the world stand out.

A few weeks ago, Israel Security Agency (ISA) agents arrested Mahmoud Mohammad Issa Tuama. The man was arrested while he was in his car near Allenby Bridge, on the Israeli border with Jordan.

The details of the blitz were not disclosed, but it was certainly performed by one of the countless special teams available to Israel.

During a subsequent interrogation, Tuama admitted to being a member of the General Council of the Shura of Hamas, currently led by Khaled Meshal. Only the Hamas leadership sits on the board.

The duties of the General Council of the Shura of Hamas are to dictate the general policy of the organization, including all military activities (it would be better to call them attacks).

According to Tuama, the Hamas council is made up of eight representatives of the Muslim Brotherhood who trace domestic and foreign politics and take all the fundamental decisions for the organization. Tuama said he had a key role in the "financial decision making" of the terrorist organization.

The organization, until recently, received most of its funding from the Iranian government, which is known to subsidize terrorist activities around the world. Last year, however, Iran decided to freeze funds to Hamas, creating economic difficulties within the terrorist organization.

During the interrogation, Tuama provided Israel with information on a number of international organizations that are part of Hamas, including some fictitious agencies in Saudi Arabia that receive donations from all over the world.

Tauma then clarified his involvement, confessing that he advised recycling the amounts illicitly received by Hamas, buying and selling real estate. With this stratagem, some years ago, he moved about officially invested 750.000 Rials for the construction of a mosque in Tul Karem.

Tuama revealed that Hamas is behind all projects of the Islamic movement Institution and Union of God.
