The sub-head ISMEF Alessandro Chianese, from the Comsubin Sports Center, won the gold medal in the first World Cup shooting competition, specialty Double Trap, last 19 March in Nicosia (Cyprus).

The twenty-five year old Casandrino (NA) of the Navy entered the semi-final winning the gold match with an excellent 28 (+ 6), the same score achieved by the American Jeffrey Holguin, winner of the 2014 World Cup Final.

For the blue, already silver and bronze medal at the Junior World Championships 2009 and 2010, is the first podium in a World Cup test ISSF (International Shooting Sport Federation).

"I trained a lot and I knew I could do well, but I didn't think about the medal - explained the athlete at the end of the race - Once I hit the semifinal I aimed for the result and I finally arrived at this beautiful statement. It is a great emotion that I want to share with my wife and my family, but also with the Technical Commissioner Cenci, Fitav and the Navy, key players in my life as a shooter.".
