In conjunction with the Olympics, the Alpine Snowboarding European Cup proceeds in the Swiss town of Lenzerheide (SUI). Saturday saw the 1st corporal Maurizio Bormolini climb the podium in third position in the male field and the corporal major VFP4 Elisa Caffont, second in the female one, while yesterday, the two Alpini concluded their both tests in second position.
Meanwhile in Valtellina, more precisely at the Isolaccia site, the Italian Youth and Junior Championships were held for the Individual and Relay specialties. On Saturday, the individual tests decreed Italian champions the corporal VFP4 Martina Trabucchi in the junior category and the corporal VFP4 Sara Scattolo for the young category, while in trio with the corporal VFP4 Gaia Brunetto they won the gold medal in the competitions in relay of the Junior female category.
Silver medal for the corporal VFP4 Stefano Canavese in the Junior male category.
