It was known that the weather conditions could have affected the last race of the Ski Mountaineering World Cup and so it was: yesterday evening the Patrouille des Glaciers, the longest ski mountaineering competition in the world, was postponed to Sunday. but today the jury decided to cancel the tender. The conditions of the snow cover all along the Alps are too dangerous, connecting the Swiss towns of Zermatt and Verbier and so the season ended early.

To triumph, even if with a bit of bitterness for not having been able to play the last race of the season, is the corporal Michele Boscacci who, after having obtained the victory in the general classification of the World Cup, today also obtained the success in the ranking of the specialty Long Distance.
The winner was the 2 place obtained atAdamello Ski Raid and at Pierra Menta with the faithful fellow corporal major Robert Antonioli and, obviously, the success of two weeks ago at the Tour du Rutor with the major corporal chosen Matteo Eydallin.

The ski mountaineering sector concludes its season with a more than positive haul thanks to the 6 victories in the World Cup, in addition of course to the two successes in the general classification of Boscacci and to the victory of Robert Antonioli in the ranking of the specialty Sprint.
