Last weekend the competitive season officially opened for the rowing representative of the Naval Academy of Livorno, which took part in the international winter long distance regatta on the Po 'in Turin.

The competition was attended by some official students of the second, third and fourth class of the normal courses accompanied by the head of the 1st class Daniele Ceccarini and the sub-head of the 2nd class Gennaro Agrillo, responsible for the rowing activity for the frequenters as well as coaches of the representative of institute.

It was a particularly important appointment for the young officers of the Naval Academy, who put themselves to the test by competing not only with the great athletes of Italian and international rowing, but above all with themselves. After months of intense training, the cadets got involved in this new exciting experience, which enriched them not only from a sporting point of view but also and above all from a personal and professional one.

In fact, it was not only the athletic qualities of the students that emerged, but above all the values that are transmitted in the Academy. Spirit of body and spirit of sacrifice are in fact at the basis of their training, as well as in this extraordinary sport, demanding but certainly a source of great satisfaction.
