These days, the KC 767 aircraft of the Air Force deployed since October 2014 in Kuwait in support of the International Anti-ISIS Coalition, has reached the 4000 operating flight hours over the skies of Iraq.

The Task Group Tanker KC767A Breus is a multi-role structure, characterized by interoperability and complementarity, initially used in humanitarian missions to support the Iraqi populations fleeing the territories occupied by militants of the Islamic State (ISIS) through the distribution of water, foodstuffs, tents and sleeping bags. Subsequently, the Air Force Task Group carried out air-supply missions in favor of the anti-ISIS coalition aircraft.

The KC767A has two refueling systems and ensures both strategic and in-flight refueling, thus playing the fundamental role of extending its range and persistence in the areas assigned to the coalition aircraft operating against Da'esh.

Established on 17 October 2014, as part of the national operation "Prima Parthica" and multinational "Inherent Resolve", the ITNCC / TFA Kuwait guarantees the uniqueness of command and the synergistic and coordinated use of KC 767A flight arrangements , Predator and AMX. The mission is to generate flight sorties of the assets of the Air Force, able to meet the needs of in-flight refueling and to contribute to the definition of the Situation Awareness (ISR). Also, through the cell Intelligence Integrated Multisensor Exploitation Cell (I2MEC) is able to enhance high quality images that are then provided to the coalition in the form of analysis.
