The training of the Italian contingent continues at full capacity, based on the "Aosta" mechanized brigade of the Army, deployed in Hungary as part of the operation Forward Land Forces (FLF) which together with Croatian, US and Hungarian personnel carries out the deterrence function on the south-east flank of the Atlantic Alliance.
The military personnel of the engineering platoon, based on the 4th sapper engineering regiment of Palermo, together with Croatian and Hungarian units, have perfected and consolidated the tactics, techniques and procedures (TTP) with which the teams dealing with the reclamation of explosive devices (EOD Team) manage to neutralize them.
The training activity, which allowed us to confirm how the correct application of NATO procedures represents a basic element in the training progression, has the aim of achieving interoperability between all the components of the Allied countries present in the area of operation.
