Some of the Italian soldiers in Kosovo in recent days have given life to an initiative called "A day with KFOR", in favor of a didactic center for children of Bec, the structure founded in 1999 by the sisters of the Order of St. Basil Magno who assists children in school education and learning.

The initiative took place over the course of a day, and was an opportunity for fun and entertainment for the more than 50 children staying at the structure, belonging to different ethnic groups and religions, who participated in numerous playful-recreational activities, rich in color and of joy.

The day of play and solidarity, organized by the commander of the Multinational Battle Group West (MNBG W), Colonel Ciro Forte, confirms the commitment with local associations to support the population, favoring in particular the social inclusion and integration of the new generations of Kosovo.

The military contingent in Kosovo, based on 132 Carri Regiment of Cordenons (PN), in the past few days has conducted a further initiative in support of a women's association, donating stationery to the “Briga” center (in Italian, “concern” ) of Goradzevac, a village with a Serbian majority in the west of Kosovo.

The material will facilitate the task of the workers of the center, engaged daily in the school training and education of the young people of the village, paying particular attention to respect for the environment and the artistic and religious heritage of all ethnic groups in Kosovo.
