NATO's commitment in Kosovo continues, with the patrolling of multinational forces along the country's northern border.

The commander of KFOR, division general Giovanni Fungo, recently met the KFOR soldiers belonging to the Multinational Battle Group-East (MNBG-E) working with the Serbian armed forces along the northern border of Kosovo.

KFOR conducts patrols in this area, in collaboration with the Serbian military, in order to ensure compliance with the UN Security Council resolution 1244 and the military technical agreement, which provide for the maintenance of security and freedom of movement for all the inhabitants of Kosovo.
