Le standing naval forces, of which SNMG2 is part, represent a tool of fundamental importance within the Atlantic Alliance, accelerating the processes of development of the interoperability of the allied maritime forces through the intense training activities that are carried out at sea during deployments, and at the same time allowing the Alliance to be able to express its own naval diplomacy, a characteristic and distinctive element of the maritime forces.
