The 25 January the commander of the units of the Standing NATO Maritime Group two (SNMG2), Rear Admiral Jorg Klein, made a visit on board a Libeccio ship.
After a short briefing on the unit, COMSNMG2 visited the operational premises, including the bridge, the combat operations center and the propulsion operations center.
Subsequently he met in the hangar a representative of the crew, of the team of the marine brigade Saint Mark and of the air component embarked.
The visit is part of the initial knowledge activities of the ship that joined the SNMG-2 a few days ago, as part of the operation Active Endeavor, for the fight against terrorism and the security of the seas.
