NATO: the Italian Army at the Dynamic Front 23 exercise

The international artillery exercise "Dynamic Front 23" was held in recent days at the training areas of Grafenwohr (Germany) and Oksboel (Denmark), in which around 1700 soldiers from 17 allied countries and partners of the BORN.

Italy took part in the important training event with Army assets led by the 132nd "Ariete" armored brigade. 

In particular, the following were deployed: a group command post; a PZH 2000 howitzer battery, an "Arthur" radar team, four JFSTs (Joint Fire Support Teams), two of which belong to the 132nd "Ariete" land artillery regiment, one to the 185th parachute regiment RAO and one made up of personnel from the 11th ° Bersaglieri regiment and the "Lancers of Novara" regiment (5th), as well as elements of the artillery command and north heavy maintenance pole.

The purpose of the exercise was to increase and refine the interoperability between artillery units of the different countries which, specifically, operated under the ASCA (Artillery Systems Cooperation Activities) protocol.
