Multinational Battle Group West (MNBG-W): joint defense training against the use of incendiary devices

A Hungarian battalion team from Tactical Reserve Manoeuver (KTM) of KFOR implemented crowd control training with the reaction to the use of incendiary devices (fire phobia) by an Italian company and a Moldovan platoon at the "Slim Lines" Camp training area.

The MNBG-W multinational maneuver battalion composed of three companies (Italian, Slovenian and Austrian) and a Moldovan platoon periodically carries out joint training activities to guarantee the standardization of the procedures to be applied to the conduct of tactical acts provided for by the mandate defined by the 1244 resolution of the United Nations Security Council.

In particular, the Italian-led multinational contingent operates according to three guidelines aimed at ensuring the safety of the Decane Monastery, monitoring freedom of movement in the western sector of Kosovo and promoting the economic and social development of the Kosovar population through Cooperation projects Civil and Military (CIMIC).
