The ceremony took place at the Mogadishu international airport, in the presence of the Italian ambassador in Somalia, Fabrizio Marcelli and the deputy police commander of the city of Mogadishu, Brigadier General Ahmed Dayib Ahmed, to whom the Colonel Bernardo Mencaraglia, commander of the IT-NSE has delivered the equipment (suits, gas masks, boots, gloves, shields from public order, etc.).
On the occasion, General Ahmed Dayib Ahmed expressed gratitude for such an important donation and thanked the representatives of the Italian Armed Forces present in Mogadishu for their constant support for the stabilization and reconstruction process of Somalia.
