The COMCOI was received by Brigadier General Stefano Del Col, commander of the West Sector and the Italian contingent on the "Pinerolo" Brigade base, who provided an "operational" update on the current situation and on the main activities carried out at the Tactical Operation Center (TOC), renewed in the dimensions and in the use of new IT supports to approach, in the immediate future, the complete digitalization of the command and control instruments.
During the updating of the training activities, the positive results of the multinational exercise, called "Steel Storm", which involved the Italian contingent, all the foreign military contingents constituting Unifil's maneuver units and the Lebanese armed forces were shown ( LAF) employed in southern Lebanon.
