There are 15 beds that the Italian military personnel of UNIFIL, employed in South Lebanon, have delivered to the hospital in Tire. The donated hospital materials made it possible to set up a new hospital room at the dialysis center to serve the poorest sections of the population in the city.

Among the goods delivered 2 dialysis devices, 15 hospital beds and 2 defibrillators, destined for the nephrology department of the Tire hospital. The public hospital is mainly frequented by the poorest people as well as by Palestinian refugees and Syrian refugees who do not have access to private health facilities.

The donation was made possible by the solidarity of the "Maggiore della Carità" Hospital of Novara, the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of San Giorgio (Campania-Naples delegation), the National Relief Corps, the CDC spa and the non-profit organization  Rock No War, organizations that supported the initiatives promoted for Lebanon by the "Nizza Cavalleria" (1 ') regiment of Bellinzago Novarese, currently employed in Lebanon.

Ensure coordination between donors and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO) engaged in supporting the local population and the implementation of civil-military cooperation projects, are some of the activities promoted by the Italian contingent, led by the Alpine brigade Taurinense, in the application of the mandate foreseen by the UN resolution 1701, together with the support to Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) and to control the cessation of all hostilities in southern Lebanon.
