Accepted by the commander general Salvatore Cuoci, HE Monsignor Gabriele Caccia, in his day with the Italian blue helmets, gave the sacrament of Confirmation to 16 young soldiers of the contingent and entitled the church of the base "Millevoi" to the Regina Pacis Mater Misericordiae.
Inside the church, a new imposing image of the "Virgin of the Well", to create an ideal bridge between Lebanon and Italy: the image in fact takes up that of the sanctuary of the Friars Minor of Capurso, in the province of Bari, and that of the sanctuary of the Capuchin friars of Bab Idriss, in Beirut.
A common element of the two miracles remembered by the sanctuaries, the water that Capurso heals, in Beirut quenches thirst: "two aspects that unite in living life at the service of one's neighbor" the words of the military chaplain of the contingent that he treated with commitment and determination the embellishment of the church with the new image on the altar.
