This morning there was a ceremony to change the leadership of the Combat Support Battalion of the Sector West , Lieutenant Colonel Alberto Autunno from the Alpine Brigade Taurinense, Carmine Marasco, commander of the Command Department and Tactical Support of the Friuli brigade.
The operational activities support battalion (Combat Support Battalion - CS BN) guarantees support to the western sector through the technical and specialist units provided by the 32nd sapper engineers regiment of Turin, from the 232 ° transmission regiment of Avellino, from the command and support department “Taurinense” tactics of Turin from the 7th NBC regiment of Civitavecchia and from the 33rd EW regiment of Treviso.
This will gradually be completed and will end in the coming days with the entry into the Lebanese operational theater of the logistic regiment, the handover between the outgoing Friuli brigade and the incoming Alpine Brigade Taurinense.
The commander of the Sector West he thanked the boys of Friuli for the work done very well in their mandate and wished, at the same time, equal fortunes to the successors of "his" Taurinense.
The event saw the participation of military representatives of all the other components Sector West, which currently has 13 participating nations well and has anticipated the celebration in Shama's Italian base 4 November, “Day of National Unity” and “Day of the Italian Armed Forces”.
