Kosovo: RC-W in support of the Helez Han health center

The KFOR Regional Command West (RC-W), based on the 9th Alpini Regiment Taurinense, through the cell of Civil and Military Cooperation (CIMIC) of the multinational contingent, donated a system of solar panels for the production and subsequent energy independence of the hospital in Hel Hezan, a municipality located in its area of ​​responsibility.

The donation was made with the aim of increasing the capacity to provide essential services to the population and make the environment healthier thanks to the elimination of emissions.

The activity is part of the program Civil and Military Cooperation of the Italian contingent of regional command - West of KFOR, and is aimed at increasing the health quality standards of Western Kosovo.

In the greeting he addressed to the representatives of local and health institutions present, the commander of RC-W Colonel Mario Bozzi expressed full support to the health sector by the KFOR Units, highlighting that the construction of the plant, in addition to generating clean electricity , will make it possible to direct funds to the hospital for the purchase of medicines and health equipment.

The contingent of the Italian Armed Forces, together with the multinational component, guarantees freedom of movement and the maintenance of a safe and secure environment for the citizens of all communities in Kosovo, in accordance with the resolution 1244 of the United Nations Security Council .
