Italian military personnel of the Multinational Battle Group West of KFOR, made a donation of material in favor of the Sisters of St. Basil the Great. Overhead projectors, chairs, vacuum cleaners, floor washers, cabinets and refrigerators will make it easier for the nuns, involved in the management of an educational center for children in the west of Kosovo.

The activity is part of the broader program of projects carried out by the multinational unit, in favor of local authorities and various organizations operating in the area. The material comes from the A.MI.Ko. (Aeronautica Militare in Kosovo) of Gjacova / Dacovica, Italian military airport sold, to the institutions of Kosovo in 2013 after fourteen years of activity.

The donations were attended by the commander of the Multinational Battle Group West, Colonel Ciro Forte, who wanted to underline how: "the national component contributes since the beginning of the mission in fostering the economy and facilitating progress. In these activities it focuses particularly on the new generations, hope and future of the Kosovar people ".

Bec's "casa della pace" educational center is a structure founded by the nuns of the Order of St. Basil the Great in 1999. Today it is able to accommodate fifty children, belonging to different ethnic groups and religions, assisting them in school education and learning.
