Yesterday, in the context of civil and military cooperation activities in favor of the local population, the Italian contingent of the Multinational Battle Group West (MNBG-W), an Italian-led multinational unit based on the 62nd “Sicilia” infantry regiment of Catania, made a donation to the “Faik Konoka” elementary school in Ratishe in the municipality of Decan / Decani.
In particular, through its own CIMIC cell, the MNBG-W has donated to the schoolmaster, director of the institute, school equipment and sports equipment which will be used to implement the training capacity of the structure, significantly contributing to improving the quality of local schooling.
The donation is part of a broader program of civil and military cooperation, carried out by the Italian contingent stationed in Belo Polje, which sees the local authorities and humanitarian organizations operating in the area interested, with the aim of contributing to the development and stabilization of the 'area.
