The Italian contingent of the Multinational Battle Group West (MNBG W) of KFOR (Kosovo Force) today donated clothes, school kits and toys to various families with children in the municipality of Dakovica / Djakova, supported by the non-governmental association Italian "Friends of Children". In addition to constantly supporting children, the NGO also promotes their adoption in favor of families in Kosovo or other countries in the world.

The material was collected in Italy thanks to the commitment of the "voluntary consultation" of the municipality of Castenaso (BO), and will allow the children of Dakovica / Djakova to start the school year in the best possible way.

The head of civil-military cooperation, Lieutenant Colonel Antonello Catalano, of the 132 Regiment Carri of Cordenons (PN), presided over the donation.

The activity of today is part of a series of projects, including the donation of scholastic material to the ethnic community RAE (Roma, Ashkali, Egyptians) of Klinavac, promoted and conducted by the MNBG W, confirming the commitment of the Italian military to the local population.
