Kosovo: MSU carabinieri donate food to the SOS Children orphanage in Pristina

“Every little thing means a lot to us”. With these words the director of the orphanage, Dr. Nezahat Ramadani Salihu welcomed the donation, which was made in the presence of the military ordinary for Italy, Santo Marcianò, who arrived in Kosovo for the pastoral visit to the Italian contingent on the occasion of Holy Christmas.

Monsignor Marcianò, wanted to join in the commitment by delivering an offer of his own to the director. The Valfrutta di Codigoro (FE) company, represented by dr. Fabrizio Fini, who donated three pallets of food.

The donation was carried out as part of the Cimic activities of the MSU Carabinieri Department of Pristina, commanded by the col. Paolo Coletta.

The “SOS Children” orphanage in Pristina currently hosts 100 children and young people aged 0 to 24. The structure is supported by the proceeds of paying guests and by donations from NGOs from all over the world that come through the organization's headquarters in Vienna.
