Kosovo: Folgore No Limits - No One Behind

The international edition of the "Folgore No Limits" event was held in recent days at the base of "Camp Villaggio Italia" where the soldiers of the Multinational Battle Group West (MNBG-W), with the support of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and the local Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) HandiKos, have organized an activity in favor of the “No Limits” friends of Kosovo.

The event, for the first time in Kosovo, saw the participation of over 500 pupils from schools from the major municipalities present in the western area of ​​the region: Peje / Pec, Gjakova / Dakovica, Istock / Istog, Glodjane / Gllogjan, Klina / Kline and Decane / Decan, without ethnic and religious distinctions. The commander of the MNBG-W, Colonel Ettore Gagliardi, underlined the importance of support for disabilities by exploiting the positive values ​​of sport to promote the integration of disabled people without borders and barriers. The children of Kosovo were able to participate in various sports (volleyball, badminton, basketball, football, table tennis) and, followed by the MNBG-W paratroopers, took part in rap-camp on skydiving e Tactical Functional Training, then have lunch all together.

The day dedicated to our friends "No Limits", now in its fifth edition, was experienced as a moment of sharing values ​​and solidarity. The Italian, Slovenian, Austrian and Moldavi soldiers, framed within the Italian-led MNBG-W, based on the 185th "Folgore" paratrooper artillery regiment, guard and protect the Monastery of Decane, as first responder (first responsible), guaranteeing freedom of movement in the western sector of Kosovo.

KFOR, as the motto “Enduring Commitment”, chosen by Major General Salvatore Cuoci, commander of the Mission, continues to ensure its commitment to the democratic, peaceful and multi-ethnic development of Kosovo.
