Kosovo: Commander of the KFOR Multinational Specialized Unit (MSU)

In recent days in Pristina took place the ceremony of change of command to the Multinational Specialized Unit (MSU), a unit of the Armed Forces of the Carabinieri in the KFOR Command, Colonel Paolo Coletta, the surrender, and Fabio Cagnazzo, a substitute.

The ceremony was attended by Italian Ambassador to Kosovo Piero Cristoforo Sardi, Deputy Commander of the Carabinieri Corps, Army Corps General Antonio Ricciardi, Deputy Commander of KFOR Brigadier General Christian Riener and representatives of the institutions in Kosovo and of the international community.

General Ricciardi thanked Colette for the important achievements of the carabinieri employed in Kosovo and wished to Colonel Cagnazzo the best satisfaction for her new assignment.

KFOR Deputy Commander commended Colette for the important work done by MSU in support of KFOR, especially in the Mitrovica area.

In his speech, the outgoing commander pointed out that "From 1999, more than 6, thousands of carabinieri served Multinational Specialized Unit in Kosovo and continue to work on KFOR's motto "trust and commitment".
