Iceland: the commander of the Brunssum Joint Force Command visiting the Task Force Air - Northern Ice

In the late morning of today, the commander of the Joint Force Command of Brunssum, general of corps Salvatore Farina, visited the Task Force Air - Northern Ice risked at Keflavik airport for the NATO operation of Interim Air Policing on the Icelandic skies.

During the visit the commander of the Task Force Air (TFA), Colonel Emanuele Spigolon, explained to the commander of the JFCBS the task of each single joint showing the logistic and operational infrastructures where the staff of the Air Task Force is called to operate in addition to the aircraft Euro Fighter Italians employed for the defense of airspace.

At the end of the visit in the operational areas, General Farina greeted all the personnel of the Task Force Air to which he wanted to express his "appreciation on behalf of all NATO for the important contribution to the security of Euro-Atlantic airspace."He invited everyone to continue to commit themselves to bringing the Flag higher and higher, defining the personnel as the flagship of the country, with professionally prepared, ethically and morally excellent people who know how to express great ability.
