Iraq: The Italian-led KTCC concludes the 6 training cycle for the Kurdish security forces

The Italian military trainers of the "Erbil" Task Force, headed by the multinational command Kurdish Training Coordination Center Italian-led, they completed a cycle of training activities in favor of a Battalion with a total duration of 6 weeks.

The KTCC composed of Italian, English, German, Dutch, Norwegian, Finnish and Hungarian military personnel at the request of the Kurdish representatives of the MoP (Ministry of Peshmerga), completed the training of 2 Battaglioni peshmerga, located in different training areas.

The training cycle ended with military exercises that certified the acquisition of full operational capacity both in the planning of the Battalion Command level and in the conduct of military operations in different operating environments.

The representatives of the Kurdish institutions have expressed words of appreciation for the support received from the military trainers of the coalition, therefore the organization of the 7 ° training cycle is already being planned, which should start from the beginning of October.
Il Kurdish Training Coordination Center, composed at the time of around 600 men and women belonging to 7 nations, since last January has trained about 4200 Kurdish security forces of which over 1500 have been formed from about 100 Italian military.
