training

The cycle of lessons provided for the development of a training based on a combination of individual and team activities in order to obtain the status of infantryman.

The main activities carried out, besides a daily physical training, have been focused on concepts of C-IED, rules of engagement, rescue under enemy fire, shooting with portable weapons, individual and team patrols.

This training fits into the context of the multiple courses provided by the Army trainers to the Iraqi security forces at the Sulaymaniya Infantry School, where Italy holds the coordination of the training activities (Training Coordination).

Iraqi appreciation

The training that is carried out by the Italian military in KTCC has always been particularly appreciated so much that, the Command of the Iraqi training center wanted to insert the name of the center "Infantry School of Sulaymanyah" also in the language on the entrance of the barracks as a sign of recognition and appreciation for the work done by Italian trainers.

The stabilization path

The training of the Iraqi forces aimed at their progress in the military field is a priority in the path of stabilization of a country battered by years of atrocities, wars and deprivations and constitutes one of the fundamental pillars of the activities of the international anti-Saha Coalition, of which the Italy is one of the biggest contributors.
