Concluded the week of sports training conducted by representatives of Inter Campus, social project of FC Internazionale Milano, in favor of schools in the province of Tiro, Al Mansouri and Hannawiyah in the area of responsibility of the UNIFIL West Sector.
The presence of the sports technicians of Inter Campus on the occasion of the 108 anniversary of foundation of the club has, among other things, allowed the component of Civil and Military Cooperation of the Italian contingent currently composed on the basis of the “Taurinense” alpine brigade, to involve Lebanese children and girls in training activities for five days and games based on the fundamental values of sport, ethics and education, within the ongoing project that involves children and instructors throughout the year.
Inter Campus, in fact, from the 1997 it realizes flexible and long-term social and cooperation interventions, in 29 countries of the world with the support of 200 local operators, using the game of football as an educational tool to return every year children and children in need among the 6 and 13 years of age the right to play.
The activity carried out by Inter Campus with the support of the Italian blue helmets it underlines the ever growing and profitable interaction between the civil associations and the national contingent aimed at increasing the quality and quantity of interventions in support of the Lebanese population.
