The KFOR commander meets the Serbian Defense Chief of Staff

The commander of the Kosovo Force, Division General Guglielmo Luigi Miglietta, met with Serbian Defense Chief of Staff, General Ljubisa Dikovic, in Nis, Serbia.

Security in Kosovo, the implementation of agreements signed in Brussels between Pristina and Belgrade, military cooperation and the migration flows that are affecting the Balkans were the current issues on which the dialogue between General Miglietta and the general developed Dikovic who agreed on the importance of maintaining a high level of cooperation between KFOR and the Serbian armed forces, especially in joint patrolling activities along the administrative border that divides the two countries.

Another topic at the center of the interview was the tangible improvement of the general situation in Kosovo thanks to the daily and impartial effort of KFOR to support the peace and progress of the country.
General Dikovic then thanked General Miglietta for the work carried out by the KFOR military, which guarantees stability and security for the population of the Balkan region.

This meeting is part of a broader agenda of appointments with representatives of the armed forces of the countries bordering on Kosovo.
