The Chief of Defense General Staff Claudio Graziano arrived tonight at the Italian military support base in Djibouti.
"Your participation in this mission has a double meaning: it provides support to the Italian troops operating in the Horn of Africa and contributes to guaranteeing security in this delicate region". Thus the general Graziano greeting the staff of the base upon his arrival.
"I wish you and your families a great wish for the upcoming holidays and I urge you to continue to represent Italy and the armed forces abroad with pride and determination as you are doing" concluded the Chief of Defense Staff.
The visit will continue in the coming days in Somalia and Egypt.
