Last week a meeting took place between a delegation of the 52nd Mission Support Group of the United States Air Force and the staff of the TFA (Task Force Air) 36 ° Stormo deployed at the Amari military base, in Estonia.

The staff of the 52 °, commanded by Colonel Steven Zubowicz, is in Estonia to support the activities of the 112 Expeditionary Fighter Squadron, which for about two months will be risky on Amari with F-16 aircraft to carry out training activities with the Allied Nations.

Colonel Eros Zaniboni, commander of the TFA, has exposed to the American personnel the tasks of the Air Policing Mission under the Command and Control of NATO for the protection of the airspace of the Baltic republics, illustrating the characteristics of the aircraft Euro Fighter and of the equipment supplied to the Italian department.

The meeting was also attended by Lieutenant Colonel Gregory Barasch, commander of the USAF redeployment together with the pilots of the 112th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron, who were very interested in the characteristics of the Italian "Typhoon" hoping for a joint training activity.
