The command of the western sector (JTF-L - Joint Task Force Lebanon), based on the Brigade "Granatieri di Sardegna", inaugurated in recent days in some primary schools of southern Lebanon basic courses of Italian language, distributing among the school desks the "Alfabetiere", a volume rich in designs and colors, with which local children began a "journey" in the Italian alphabet.

In particular, during the inauguration ceremony, at the school of Al Qulaylah, the commander of the western sector - Brigadier General Maurizio Riccò - in the presence of the mayor of the municipality - Mr. Ghass Salman and the director of the school, stressed the importance of learning foreign languages as an instrument of integration for young "citizens of the world".

The course in question, conducted by the staff of the adherence support group (CSS BN - Combat Service Support Battalion), based on 1 ° transport regiment and on the occasion represented by its commander - Colonel Mario Stefano Riva - was realized through the donation of didactic material to which the regional council of Campania, the province of Salerno and the municipality of Scafati contributed, the national grenadiers association of Sardinia, the non-profit organization "Associazione senza Frontiere", the association "Spes Scafati" and the companies Fabriano and Carioca.

The course demonstrates how achieving the goal of peace, stability and cohabitation can be achieved by investing, above all, in the cultural formation of the "new generations".
