Completed training for women of the Afghan Police Force

In recent days, a training course for female staff has been completed Afghan Border Police led by the carabinieri of Police Advisor Team (PAT) of the Train Advise Assist Command West (TAAC-W) of Herat, for the management of a crime scene and carrying out the necessary surveys.

The course, structured on theoretical and practical lessons, provided the Afghan women with the guidelines to be able to carry out a crime scene inspection, with particular attention to research, collection and cataloging of the sources of evidence and contextual drafting of judicial police acts related. The instructors of the course are carabinieri who work in the PAT with staff coming from the 1 regiment "Tuscania", of the 7 regiment "Trentino-Alto Adige" and of the 13 regiment "Friuli-Venezia Giulia".

It is not the first time that theAfghan Border Police participates in the training modules created by the military of the PAT and at the end of this course a dozen or so visitors have also put into practice the knowledge acquired in a practical exercise, simulating all the phases of identifying and collecting evidence in a crime scene realized in hoc.

At the end of the exercise certificates of participation were delivered in the presence of the chief of staff of the Train Advise and Assist Command West, Colonel Cosimo Prencipe, the commander of the Herat forensic laboratory, Colonel Arif Marefat Khan, and the commander of the Police Advisor Team greater than the carabinieri Raffaele Naccarato.
