The soldiers of the 9th "Bari" infantry regiment carried out a series of training activities on Bulgarian territory. In fact, a week of training recently concluded in the Novo Selo training area which saw the deployment of various components of the NATO Battle Group: a heavy mortar platoon, a sniper team, two nuclei Surveillance Acquisition of Visual Objectives and the nuclei Tactical Air Control Party (TACP) of the units belonging to the Italian and Croatian Army.
Italy is leading the battle group in Bulgaria, included in the operation of enhanced Vigilance Activity of NATO, from October 2022.
