A course in the Camp Arena was concluded in recent days Escort and VIP Protection (Close Protection Team) in favor of 20 non-commissioned officers and actual instructors Regional Training Center of the Afghan police, the border police, and the 7a brigade of theAfghan National Civil Order Police (ANCOP) and special police units stationed at Herat.
The course has allowed the visitors, already in possession of a good basic training, to acquire the ability to plan and conduct the delicate services of close protection to high personalities and subjects subject to risk.
The Carabinieri of the PAT carried out theoretical lessons and practical training sessions, in an appropriately prepared base area. Great satisfaction with the training activity was expressed by the operators and in particular by the Afghan instructors, who in the near future will be able to transmit the knowledge learned to their colleagues.
At the end of the training, a "VIP escort techniques" exercise was carried out, attended also by the gen. b. Mauro D'ubaldi, commander of TAAC-W and ten. with the. of the Arma Nicola Bianchi.
