In the context of Italian Bilateral Military Mission in Lebanon (MIBIL) the first course started yesterday Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance & Target Acquisition (ISR & TA, i.e. Information, Surveillance, Reconnaissance and Objective Acquisition) in favor of personnel belonging to the Lebanese special forces, carried out by a Mobile Traning Team (MTT) consisting of instructor personnel belonging to the 185º parachute regiment, recognition of the "Folgore" objective acquisition, a unit included in the command of the special forces of the Italian Army.
The training activity will last eight weeks, will consist of four modules integrated with the aim of acquiring the LAF specialists the ability to conduct reconnaissance operations and gather information.
