'Special' students on Palinuro ship

After the stop in Bari and heading towards Porto Corsini (RA), the second stage of the 2015 pre-campaign, the training ship Palinuro has resumed sailing the Adriatic Sea with 3 girls and 20 boys aboard, students of the Sailing Training Association Italy ( STA), of the National Association of Italian Sailors (ANMI) and of the Italian Naval League (LNI).

From here, after the weekend stop, you will resume sailing to Venice.

During the experience of embarking on the 'shore ship' young people, aged 16 and 19 years and coming from higher schools, for a period of 10 days will have the opportunity to savor the life on board, to sail , to learn the first rudiments of nautical and naval sciences.

"A strong impact with a reality unknown to me - says Federico (an ANMI student) and the first experience on a Navy ship, which continues - I rolled up my sleeves to absorb the rhythms and dynamics of a profession that I hope it can become my future career ".

The thrill of visiting Palinuro ship during the stop in Messina, and it was love at first sight for the young student ANMI Alessandra, who requested to embark on the schooner ship to "live an experience different from the everyday that I hope will give me a launch pad to get what you dream of enlisting in the Navy ”.

After several experiences on the mercantile units, Antonio Balenzano, a Bari LNI student, finally managed to embark on a military ship, driven by the desire to follow up at the nautical institute with "a concrete experience of life on the sea my dream has always been my dream. and ambition ".
