It will be called "Sea Wall" and will protect the Ukrainian coastal area from a possible naval attack. This is what the spokesman of the national border service Oleh Slobodyan told the Ukrainian media.
"The new project involves the construction of a series of fortified structures. The Sea Wall, already approved by the government, will be composed of a series of fortifications that will monitor the coastal area and in the event of a naval assault, they will be able to hold the enemy up until the arrival of our main forces. It will be built along the coast of the Sea of Azov ".
The Ukrainian government has not yet communicated the time and cost of the new fixed defense system.
